1990s marina and canal estate on the southern edge of Cardwell, developed by Keith Williams, devastated by Cyclone Yasi in 2011. Acquired by The Passage Holdings in 2016 and renamed Hinchinbrook Harbour, with staged redevelopment and dredging of the marina and canal planned. Renamed Hinchinbrook Harbour after 2016 sale to The Passage Holdings; marina largely silted/inaccessible since Cyclone Yasi (2011) despite 2024-25 council dredging, berths mostly empty; Queensland's first Provisional Priority Development Area declared 10 Nov 2025 to restore the 140ha tourism/commercial/residential precinct (140ha); dredging market sounding opened Jul 2026
